I have found a place to live in Portugal.
This is a big deal for me. I guess it would be a big deal for most people moving to a foreign country, even for a few months. However, I am practical, though. I like to plan things that will impact my life.
I played bingo for the first time.
We used to play bingo when I worked in assisted living. Staff helped residents keep track on their bingo cards, called numbers and awarded prizes. I remember playing in elementary school, too.
But playing in a room of paying adults was a first.

The traffic wasn’t bad for the start of my adventure. Google had suggested that driving in Atlanta around 6 p.m. on a weeknight might be challenging. So I left earlier, and got to the hotel parking lot a few minutes before 6 p.m. At 6 p.m. precisely, I was on the shuttle to the airport, watching the pink sunset in the west. The driver said it was going to get cold. Well, maybe cold for Georgia. I’m still used to Wisconsin.
It’s a bluebird day in Breckenridge. The sun is shining, the sky is a beautiful blue, and it’s perfectly clear. Skiiers love these kinds of days.
